As Bio-Toxin Related Illnesses continues to unfold, organizations, families, and businesses are finding themselves in uncharted territory. Important decisions must be made to manage the health and safety of staff, clients, and residents/patients, and individual family members while limiting service disruptions as much as possible and every day normal routines.  Leadership and family heads are faced with making these critical decisions using limited resources and sometimes with conflicting information. With the rapidly evolving situation and the barrage of information from various news outlets, we understand it is hard to know what information is accurate and based on scientific, medical and engineering truth.  We understand the medical side.  We assists mold accessors and mold remediators with protocols that are built in collaboration with healthcare professional's who specialize in treating mold and bio-toxin illness.

We are backed by a Medical Advisory Board.  In update and as of Forth Quarter 2025, we have expanded our collaborations to include upcoming seminars and medical counting education courses that will be directed and lead by George Washington University.

We instruct on health-based remediation practices to include now Level 4 protocols-designed specifically for patients and clients with chemical sensitivities, chronic illnesses, and bio-toxin related conditions.

In our Project Travel 2025 (#projecttravel2025) and beyond teaching and training, we recognize and educate on the premises that one can no stop at just removing mold from an environment.  Our collective approach addresses bio-toxins, mold fragments, endotoxins, actinos (which come from mold), VOC's and Formaldehyde sampling procedures for all professionals.

Our training expansion for 2025 and the upcoming years that follow, will include up to date and state of the art training(s) that support medically necessary remediation, ensuring human and animal environments are as safe as possible before each respectively returns back to their environments indoors.

Clear communication is vital and thus we teach how to document, test/sample, and evaluate indoor air environments  with the goal and purpose of keeping both each respective medical practitioners and their patients/clients informed of every step.

Most importantly, we share with the goal: How to create a cleaner, healthier, safer environment that foster real recovery.

Healthy Building Institute of America (HBIATODAY) strives to become your trusted resource. Our goal since the first day we opened our door was to provide organizations, businesses, and families with accurate information and expert guidance to help navigate these turbulent times.

For over 25 years, our institute has helped with daily operation and implementation.  The HBIA delivery of  safer work environments, healthier residential benefits, and  ensuring and building healthy buildings has been a task we don't take lightly.

Our board (we call them our TEAM) consist of occupational health professionals, alliance partners of medical professionals, bio-safety specialists, industrial hygienists, and engineers that apply their expertise in a variety of ways to help through challenging times.  COVID-19 was just one of multiple challenges we have faced head-on.  Today our focus has shifted to BEYOND MOLD - IT'S A HEALTH ISSUE to include Bio-toxin Illnesses and how buildings negatively affect human and animal health.

Today we face Mold Related Illnesses and its direct tie to Indoor Air Quality.
Did we mention CIRS - That's right Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome is a top priority of focus areas right now.   The HBIA is spear heading a nationwide Field Trail Study that braces and bridges the connection between Functional Medicine and the Indoor Air Quality Industry.  Awareness is vital when it comes to those whose health concerns intersect with their indoor environment.  Our celebrative advisory board and network of elite professionals consist of those who support sensitized and immune-compromised individuals and/or their pets.  Each respective prior mentioned are trained, licensed, and/or certified to deliver services relating to mold and bio-toxin assessments and evaluations.
